Our family has always loved all of the wonderful food from all regions of Mexico, California and the South West in the United States. We continue to enjoy cooking and creating new and tasty recipes. Although the ‘eating’ is always the best part.
We lived just minutes from Baja California's Mexican border in San Diego. Our summers were spent at our family beach house just across the border and so we all grew up on the wonderful fresh tortillas and Mexican influenced cuisine of these regions. Our family is now in its third generation of loving and eating great Mexican food. Recipes have been gathered while traveling throughout Mexico eating in elegant restaurants and little roadside 'taco stands' and the collecting, still continues today. Through the generosity of friends and family, both in Mexico and the United States, we are very happy and excited to share with you some of their favourite Mexican dishes, along with various exciting recipes using 'fresh tortillas' for your cooking and eating pleasure. We hope you enjoy this collection of recipes from great cooks on both sides of the Mexican border.
